Maryland has the most beautiful spring! We have weathered the winter despite all of those who doubted we were strong enough! A few weeks ago, Jonathan, our old friend Bryan Raya and I went to celebrate the famous Cherry Blossom Festival on the mall. Be sure to check out the photos.
We were really excited when Jonathan was promoted to Music and Media Supervisor at Borders. (Our cd library has grown very quickly as a result!) He enjoys the resposibility and creative outlet, yet the grueling retail schedule is difficult. Two weeks ago, he finished the arduous five week project of getting our car registered in Maryland. It is a huge relief for him not dealing with that every moment that he was not at work.
I am in the most difficult weeks of my second semester of my masters program. I am enjoying playing prinicple in fabulous concerts like Copland 3, Mahler 3 and Tales of Hoffman. I am also fortunate in building a studio with a handful of students that practice. What an amazing opportunity!
We are planning our summer trip for next month. Weddings, graduations, house warmings and Mexican food feasts are on the agenda. Although, we are able to come for a week and a half, we are looking forward to seeing as many of you as we can!
Love,
Katrina & Jonathan
