Happy Fourth of July!
Jonathan and I are experiencing 80-100% humidity and thunderstorms nearly every other day here in Maryland! Thankfully, it is a bit quieter here without the cicadas.
Last year on this date we along with our friend Russ and our parents packed up our moving van, all of our belongings and our cat Sapphira to move across the country. What an incredible year it has been. We still miss California…the produce, weather, friends and family. Maryland has started to feel more comfortable, yet we are still looking forward to moving back home.
I have been thinking about pursing my doctorate degree beginning in the fall of 2005. I hardly expected Jonathan to be willing to move another time, but he always amazes me with his love and support. I am not sure where I’m applying just yet, but it can’t be any further from California than here! (At least not in USA…just kidding Moms & Dads!)
We are both doing well. I am enjoying the summertime by practicing, teaching lessons, and playing in music festivals. Jonathan is surviving retail work and has gotten promised a promotion within the next few months. Patience is a virtue! We love you all and miss you always!
