Things are finally slowing down here in Maryland. We had a great time with family and friends during my recital and graduation. The recital went very well and we had far more people than expected! Good ol’ Southern BBQ afterwards was fabulous. My graduation ceremony was actually personal–they spoke a few lines about every graduate! This made it fairly long, but memorable.
Jonathan is starting his Master’s of Library Science next month! He will be working full time and taking two summer courses–making him quite busy in contrast with my “life-planning-period.” The plan is for him to finish his degree in a few years so that I can continue my education and obtain my Doctorate of Musical Arts. Then we BOTH could teach at on a university campus in the future. What a dream! As for now, we are in a true state of transition with major living and working decisions to be made–please keep us in your prayers.
