Yeah napping!
Just a quick post to let you know that things are going well here with our new family. Aliyah is napping now and I am about to go to sleep myself!
My mom left last Thursday, so now it’s just the three of us. Life is different to say the least. What a blessing to have her here! I had no idea how much help that we would need. She cooked, cleaned, and consoled baby at 4:30 AM a couple of times. Jonathan & I would not have slept the small amount that we did without her. Thank you so much Mom!!
We are settling into a tentative schedule, now that Aliyah is nearly 3 weeks old. She is sleeping nearly 3 hours at a time at night and feeding every 2 hours during the daytime. She is a real sweetheart and I am falling more and more in love.
We have received so many special gifts and cards! Thank you so much!
Cousin Alicia made the beautiful knit dress!
Aunt Nina and Uncle Danny have already turned Aliyah into a Giants Fan!

Hi, you three! I sure miss you – all of you! It was so very special to be there with you during the first couple of weeks, getting to know Aliyah & taking care of everyone. What a treat for me! I loved every minute of it (heat, crazy hours & all!) & I really wish I was still there. (‘Course, you would have kicked me out by now!) What a lovely family you are! Hope all is well, & that you get some sleep! Love you all so much.

Good to hear there is add’l progress in babyland and you finally received the package with all the SF Giants gear. That’s right, Aliyah’s colors are Black and Orange … and she is swimming in her baseball jersey I see – haha. That’s ok, everything was purposely bought at larger sizes so she could grow into and get good use out of them. What a pretty dress Alicia knitted, how neat. Alicia is Aliyah’s second cousin, your first cousin by marriage is, anyhow nice work Alicia! You have some talent there. All for now, take care. ~ Aunt Nina
