~~This is love~~
I have been surrounded by love all of my life. I love my parents. I love my sisters and family. I have been madly in love with my husband for nearly 10 years. I am still amazed how love only multiplies and I just have room for more. The love for my daughter is a different from anything than I have experienced.
My mother used to tell me that she “loved me more” than I loved her. It bugged. How could she know how much I loved her? She couldn’t compare! Mom, now I understand. My love for Aliyah is bigger than I ever imagined.
This is “You’ll-never-understand-until-you-have-a-child-of-your-own” love.
It’s “God-so-loved-the-World” love.
The type of love than wells up within me, pervading my soul. It’s the type that I find myself rocking my daughter well beyond the threshold of sleep just so that I could cuddle and sing lullabies. (Are lullabies truly written to soothe children?) It is the type of love that caused me to hold her on my chest and simply cry tears of joy.
So, Mom, now I understand. I whisper in her ear that she’ll never understand how much I love her ’till she has her own.

Your baby girl is absolutely adorable. I can totally identify with the love you described. Indeed there’s nothing like it. Only our wonderfully wise heavenly Father knows to instill such a love in our hearts. I sure appreciate His love all the more after becoming a mom. Keep in touch.
