Finally! Forward Facing!
It’s official. Aliyah is now over 20 pounds! Since she is also over one year old she can now be forward facing in her car seat. Saturday was the first time that she was able to see where we were driving together as a family. She was so excited! Saturday night was a game night for us, so after a few hours of sleeping in the Pack n Play (allowing us to hang out with adult friends) we all went home. She was enraptured by the red brake lights, colored signal lights and white street lights. She was very talkative–I wished that I had had our video camera. The world does sure look interesting after staring at the back of the grey of our car interior!
With that said, now that Aliyah is over 20 pounds, I am going to the gym.

Hooray! Another milestone. That would have been fun to see her so interested and excited! I wish you’d had your camera, too! It will be easier to secure the car seat as well in all the different vehicles out here. Can’t wait to see you – two days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don’t forget to video a few of her first steps if you have’nt already!
