Flower Girl!
Aliyah is going to be a flower girl for my sister Alyssa’s wedding (next month!) We took advantage of pretty cherry blossom flowers at CUA today to practice throwing flowers. What a silly girl!
Spring weekends!
Last week we were able to enjoy some beautiful (yet cool) spring weather. We packed up our family (including Doggy) and helmet to take Aliyah’s new bike for a spin! She loved her push trike and purple-flowered helmet. 
Today we visited our friends, Miles, Lucy and Miss Michelle who had just moved to a great house in Alexandria. Â Â Â Aliyah loved seeing her old friend and playing in her first sandbox!

Tomorrow we had hoped to go see the Cherry Blossom Parade, but alas our good weather now is dashed by rain. It’ll have to be another parade soon. Instead, we probably will go get some Japanese food at the Sakura Matsuri Festival after an early nap.
