For the past few days, we’ve been getting dressed up and enjoying parties around town. Usually involving huge amounts of food and candy! Aliyah was very hesitant to wear her new costume this year, but the crowd mentality influenced her once she saw her friends dressed up as strange things! We also visited Jonathan at his work for lunch. As we were walking under the trees, Aliyah says “I eat leaves!” Yes, dear, giraffes eat leaves. I hope my daughter, however does not!
So, Jonathan turned a BIG, round number earlier this month! We celebrated by going out to dinner at McGinty’s Irish Restaurant in Silver Spring. I am so thankful you Jonathan, my best friend and husband. Happy Birthday, Sweetie!

A few weeks ago Jonathan took Aliyah to an open house at the Hyattsville Fire Station! She had a blast…then came home and had even more fun destroying the fire hat!
Now everytime we pass the firestation she says “I’ve been there!”
