Uncle Paul!

My cousin (adopted bother…I mean brother) came to visit us this week for a double birthday celebration.  He is one of our favorite people.

James Monroe must have been a forefather of ours.  Look at the resemblance AND that dimpled chin!

We stayed up late watching all the election night festivities and visited Annapolis (another post later), and ate at great restaurants.  I think that there was also a night of manly cigar action.  We laughed so much during this week with the kindred spirit that Paul is to our family.

First Opera night!

Catholic University put on the famous opera La Boheme last weekend.  So Aliyah got all dressed up and Jonathan brought her out late to the public dress rehearsal.  She loved it…well the first act at least!
