Fruits of the Spirit

Here is what we are talking about this afternoon.
Galatians 5:22-23
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.”

We will start talking about how plants grow and how they produce fruit. Adding how things can get in the way and then transition to the idea that God can give us qualities if we follow him. These gifts are not real fruit but still sweet gifts.

Kind of Homeschooling

I am back! Although instead of updating on our crazy life, I will share on here every few days what we are doing at home to supplement Aliyah’s kindergarten half-days.  We are blessed to be in a fabulous public school.  Yet, with the emphasis on testing they miss out on foreign language, art, Bible,music and science.  So I’ve decided to do something about it!   Turns out it’s really fun.

MUSIC:

Today we are listening to the Saint-Saens’ Carnival of the Animals.

I think then I will have her do an artsy inspired scavenger hunt/make that I stole from this amazing blog:
